This might be my favorite track I've ever made. Period. Ok, so 3REM borrowed my dad's Library of Congress Cassette player, please look them up, they are very cool cassette player. They're great for sampling because you can adjust so much about the playback of the cassette. They borrowed it for like 3 months? Probably less. I wanted it back so bad though, I really liked using it. The background sample is definitely from this box of hand-dubbed mixtapes I owned that I used to sample CONSTANTLY. Now, the vocals and effects were made by my dad during early quarantine. He sampled them off NPR radio, and they were PHYSICAL tape loops. If you ever go to Treasuretronics, they live there now. I love this track <3
